Guy-Blach\u00e9 was a producer, a writer, a casting director, a set designer and the first female film director \u2013 for some years the only female director – in cinema history. She began working for France\u2019s Gaumont pictures, then moved to the US and founded her own studio, Solax. She made more than 1.000 films. How such a pioneer faded into obscurity has much to do with her gender and with how film history has been written by men. In fact, while her male colleagues were glorified, Guy-Blach\u00e9\u2019s work was neglected, if not even attributed to the men.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner row_inner_height_percent=”0″ overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ css=”.vc_custom_1552476460359{padding-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Marion W\u00f6rle aka Frau W is a computer musician and graphic designer based in Berlin. She plays solo, in ad-hoc ensembles and co-founded the ensemble gamut inc. gamut inc consists of a growing number of autonomous music robots, which are controlled from computer. She writes music for film, music theater and radio plays.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image media=”71939″ media_width_percent=”100″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_inner_height_percent=”0″ overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ css=”.vc_custom_1552476460359{padding-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Audiovisualartist, experimental musician, performer, concept writer, event manager and coordinator, resident in Berlin. As Akkamiau she has performed audiovisual shows since 2006. She has been coordinator of female: pressure network and festival Perspectives Berlin (2013, 2015), multimedia festival Multiplace (2008, 2009), produced and art directed projects L to the B (2010) and Zbrojovka site-specific (2011). In 2012 she co-founded multimedia collective StratoFyzika, for which she created sound compositions inspired by metaphysics (2012-2019). Currently performs as hiT\u035fH\u0259r\u02c8to\u035eo live experimental techno, with releases on female:pressure, Decadence recordings, SPRINGSTOFF and Establishment records. As Akkamiau she released EP Interjections [DETUND, 2019] and produced a\/v performance Interjections (Liminal Act) in cooperation with collapsetofraction collective.
