Julia, an ex actress, and her daughter Emma settle down in a large house in a village in C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina. It\u2019s winter and Julia must fix the house to sell it. It has been time since the death of her husband and Emma\u2019s father, but they are still in mourning. The days pass darkly. Sadness has made Julia quiet, distant with her daughter. One night Julia runs into Gaspar, a lifelong friend and ex theater partner. Gaspar tries to convince Julia to participate in a contest. Julia, Emma and Gaspar find a way to rebuild their lives starting an uncertain project of a new kind of family.<\/span><\/p>\n In\u00e9s Mar\u00eda Barrionuevo leads us in this all-female story of anxiety, where an inability to manage destabilisation suddenly enters your life and changes it. She is able to dig into the attractive and elusive psychology of her protagonist, aided by an unstable naturalistic landscape. As a female counterpart, there is the little Emma, who is strong and combative in not wanting to forget her father and a normality that gives meaning to life itself.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Maria Cera<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Born in the city of C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina 37 years ago, where she grew up and formed her current profession as a director and scriptwriter. She wrote, directed and produced more than 10 film works for TV and cinema. Her first feature film Atl\u00e1ntida<\/em>\u00a0premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2014.
