Janna Heine was born in 1990 in Weingarten, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg. After receiving her bachelor\u2019s degree in German literature and Social Sciences at the Humboldt University, she graduated from the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin with a master\u2019s degree in Film Studies, with her thesis on Kurdish cinema. While studying cinema at an academic and theoretical level, she quickly realized that she was keen on practical film work. After her first production experience at the ZDF series\u00a0Wilsberg<\/strong>, she began her career as an assistant to the author-producer Mehmet Akta\u015f, working in management for m\u00eetosfilm. Since 2015, Heine has been producing both national and international co-productions together with Akta\u015f. In 2015 and 2016, she also worked as the International Program Manager at the Duhok International Film Festival in North Iraq.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/1″][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image media=”1560″ media_width_percent=”100″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″ separator=”yes” separator_color=”yes”]<\/p>\n [\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Born in Cagliari, Giovanna Branca studied cinema in Tuscany at Siena University and later in Rome at Tor Vergata University, where she currently collaborates with professor Giovanni Spagnoletti in a cinema course titled \u201cHistory and Critique\u201d. She is a contributor for the entertainment section of the Italian daily newspaper \u201cIl Manifesto\u201d and has formerly collaborated with the daily newspaper \u201cPubblico\u201d. In addition, she is also editor in chief of the cinema website \u201cClose-up\u201d and has published an essay on Nanni Moretti entitled \u201cPalombella Rossa\u201d, as well as on Superhero movies.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/1″][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image media=”1561″ media_width_percent=”100″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_custom_heading heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″ separator=”yes” separator_color=”yes”]<\/p>\n [\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n A Chilean filmmaker and producer. For five years, he was editor in chief at \u201cCinemaChile\u201d<\/i>, the international agency to promote Chilean cinema in the world. He is currently obtaining his masters degree in Art Theory at the Universidad de Chile and runs his own company \u201cNi\u00f1o Ni\u00f1a Films\u201d, where he has directed more than 30 music videos and several short-films selected at international film festivals. He also produces feature films and documentaries, highlighting\u00a0Las Plantas<\/b>\u00a0(Plants<\/b>), his first feature film as a director.
