Zahi returns from Germany to Lebanon to receive the corpse of his father  who was kidnapped in the Lebanese civil war for 35 years. When he goes to the hospital to collect  the corpse to bury it, he discovers that the corpse disappeared again. Zahi finds himself stuck between two worlds where he cannot relate or communicate with either of them while trying to explore the possibility of such a disappearance.

About the Director

Graduated with an MFA at The Red Sea Institute of Cinematic in 2012 and with a BA in Interior architect in 2010, Hussen Ibraheem is a Berlin based young Lebanese filmmaker born in Beirut. His 2 shorts toured many festivals and won international and local awards. He participated in many screenwriting labs to develop his first feature narrative film project which is in the stage of development. He was selected in Meditalents, MFI, Rawi screenwriters by Sundance and RFC, Thessaloniki international film festival in Agora industry, Cairo producers network, Artist residency in Cite international des arts in Paris, Received AFAC Development grant for the feature film in development Tide and the CNC Atelier de coproduction franco-libanais (Paris/France) . For his submitted short film he received  AL Mawred Al thaqafi production grant and developed it in Script pitch- Interfilm Berlin, film festival 2016, The New Arrivals – Go-Short Campus (Netherlands) and Concours de scénario du Festival Du Cinéma Européen, Lille / Script Contest.
