Short Films Block: Society & Humans
April 4, 2019 @ ACUDkino 20h
Henri Haake just graduated from the art university in Berlin. He is an independent painter now. Insecure about his future he tries to be part of the art world. Lost in small-talks, networking, studio visits, he works hard on a blue painting, which in a way seems to mirror his emotions towards the superficial world surrounding him.
Born in 1991 in Eckernförde/Northern Germany, Friedrich Tiedtke started making films, when he was a child and has been director of numerous award winning short films. Amongst others his films won the Northern German Film Award, the National German Young Filmmakers Award and the German Youth Film Award. After school, Tiedtke first lived in Berlin and later in Copenhagen, where he started doing an education program at Zentropa Productions. Since 2017 he studies directing at the Film-university Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.
